José Maria is a lawyer and collaborator with Lexland Abogados Tax Department. With over 20 years’ experience, he has built his professional career at recognised Spanish and international firms like Ernst&Young and J&A Garrigues. His experience is focused fundamentally on two consultancy concepts:
Firstly, he has designed and directed the restructuring and reorganisation of enterprises process and the optimisation of family wealth. He is also an expert in international tax treatment, taxation for non residents and tax advice for tax planning.
In addition, José Maria has considerable experience in advising and representing physical and legal persons in administrative proceedings before the Spanish government, provinces and local tax agencies and in contentious-administrative disputes, mainly in the area of taxation.
In addition, he teaches the module on tax litigation for the Master’s Degree in Access to the Legal Profession and Legal Representation at the University of Malaga.
